On Sept. 29, Send Silence Packing stopped at Texas Christian University as it continued its tour down South. Here’s a recap of our favorite photos from the TCU display. Follow the entire journey on the blog and on Instagram.
Today an exhibit of 1,100 backpacks, representing the number of college students who die by suicide every year was displayed on the grass of the TCU Commons. Active Minds displays backpacks that have been donated in memory of loved ones who have died by suicide. If you walk among the backpacks you see the pictures and read the personal stories of those who have died, and learn about mental health, suicide prevention, and where to seek help. #mental health #sendsilencepacking #activeminds
Thank you Active Minds for spreading suicide awareness on college campuses all over the US #sendsilencepacking
